Membership

Membership is open to anyone who shares an interest in the organ and its music. New members are welcome, whether they play the organ or not, conduct choirs or sing, or simply enjoy the music and the instruments.

We currently have between 50 to 60 members, mainly based in the Winchester area, although we do have members scattered further afield, including members abroad.

The benefits of membership include:

  • A regular quarterly Newsletter sent to all members
  • Discounts and offers, including a reduced subscription on the Organists' Review Magazine
  • Automatic membership of the IAO
  • Invitations to all our events

Membership Rates (for 2015 & 2016)

Subscriptions are due on the 1st of January for the year. Members joining after 30th June pay a year's membership that includes the entire following year.

  • Full Membership: £16
  • Student Membership: £5 (for members in full-time education aged over 18 on 1st January)
  • Junior Membership: free (for members below the age of 18)
  • Joint Membership: £24 (for two members living at the same address)

The membership rates for 2016 were agreed to be no different to the rates for 2013 at the AGM.
